TAILOR-MADE. RE-USABLE. MODULAR.
Our test systems provide the optimal development environment for automotive control units. They are applied in development, quality assurance, supervision of series production, or as exhibits.
With our experience, creativity and agility, we develop smart solutions based on a modular approach, from simple systems for manual tests to fully automated HiL test stands. All test systems are designed and simulated in 3D. This allows the test system to be individually adapted in the early stages. There’s a lot of flexibility for formats and sizes: for example, as 19"-Rack, test bench, test box, or test case for mobile applications.
As we manufacture and modify all cable sets ourselves, complete cable harnesses can be designed flexibly.
We also integrate test systems into the vehicle. Our prototype hall especially serves such purposes, where we can also conduct vehicle conversions.
EXAMPLES OF TEST SYSTEM VARIANTS
Visteon
For our customer Visteon we have developed a mobile test system for the infotainment system NTG6 of Daimler AG. It enables the joint testing of all relevant components like head unit, instrument-cluster and steering wheel keys.
In this project we were confronted with a number of challenges: The design of the test system had to be adaptable to three vehicle variants. As the systems were sent to the U.S. and Asia, they also needed to be transportable and robust. Additionally the test system had to be user-friendly, high-quality and with an appealing design to serve demonstration purposes. Finally, development had to start even before we had received component design by the customer.
We have developed a test system that is extremely flexible due to exchangeable front panels. This allows for easy and swift replacement of components in case of mechanical changes. The case design in combination with the removable trolley achieves a high level of mobility with appealing design.
Mitsubishi Electric
For our customer Mitsubishi Electric we have developed a mobile test system for the infotainment system NTG6 and C5 of Daimler AG, with which all relevant components such as head unit, instrument cluster and steering wheel buttons can be tested in combination.
The challenge in this project was to develop a test system for different series. Among other things, the displays, which had to be replaced regularly, differed in design and dimensions. At the same time, the different equipment variants "NTG6" and "Connect 5" should be able to be connected.
Of course, the test setup should also be compact, stable, expandable and visually appealing.
We have evolved a proven test system and equipped it with an optional convertible display holder to accommodate three different types of displays. Furthermore, this test system is characterised by a space-saving and at the same time robust construction made of aluminium profiles, and can therefore be transported without hesitation.
The test setup accommodates all necessary components and cabling, which can be easily changed or extended but are still protected by the shelf construction.
The black powder-coated aluminium panels give the robust structure an attractive appearance. Labelling with our in-house UV printer ensures perfect legibility and rounds off the test system visually.
